Lab Assistant, Metrology
Lighthouse Lab Services is a fast-growing clinical laboratory consulting and recruiting company, whose success is driven by a committed team that thrives on teamwork and collaboration! We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to support our Metrology (aka Standards) Team.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will support the team that creates materials our client labs use to test patient samples saving both Lighthouse and our clients money. This is an entry level role with a career path that you can expand and gain many opportunities in the clinical laboratory business!
Here is a brief rundown of what your work in this role will look like:
- Monday through Thursday, approximately 10:00am - 3:00pm (20 hours), you will perform responsibilities at our Charlotte Headquarters within the laboratory, shipping, and office environments.
- Assist our Metrology Specialists in making toxicology LCMS validation materials and molecular infectious disease assay mixes.
- Labeling, pipetting and preparing aliquots.
- Packaging shipments and creating packing slips, labels, and fulfillments in NetSuite.
- Completing recipe workorders, assemblies, and scanning in completed documentation.
- Taking inventory of laboratory and shipping supplies; ordering supplies.
- Disinfect/ clean and organize our laboratory to make sure we always meet quality standards.

Qualifications we are looking for:
- High School diploma required, Associates in Science is preferred
- At least 6 months experience working in a laboratory is preferred
- Hand dexterity for repetitive pipetting is required
- Microsoft Office and Excel familiarity
- Great customer service
LLS Rewards:
- $20 - $22 per hour based on experience
