RCM Client Manager

Join Lighthouse's team of RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Client Managers who are subject matter experts in clinical laboratory and/or pathology billing for all phases of the revenue cycle and collaborates closely with our clients to evaluate existing relationships—with physicians, billing agencies, and insurance carriers—assess current processes, identify revenue enhancement opportunities, and recommend actionable strategies based on payer and regulatory requirements.
With a proactive and analytical approach, our RCM Client Manager develop client and biller-specific actions to improve client reimbursement, leads client audit reviews, provides guidance on new product implementation, supports contracting efforts and serves as a resource for all RCM-related questions for the client.
This role is essential to guiding client success in all stages of RCM, driving continuous improvement across the client’s revenue cycle and ensuring RCM regulatory compliance.
This position could be remote (work from home) or onsite at our Toledo HQ office depending on the candidate's location and preference. The anticipated starting salary range for the position is expected to be between $68,000 - $73,000/year commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or closely related field. Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in healthcare billing and/or revenue cycle management, with specific expertise in clinical laboratory and/or pathology billing.

Basic Duties include, but not limited to:
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, ensuring responsiveness to questions, concerns, and ongoing needs.
Coordinate new client onboarding, including internal setup and direction, to ensure a smooth transition into RCM services.
Conduct monthly analysis of RCM performance with the client’s billing team to identify process improvements, reduce denials, and drive efficiencies.
Develop and manage action plans with clients and billing teams to resolve issues and track progress toward revenue cycle goals.
Communicate industry trends and compliance updates that may impact client operations, spearheading discussions internally and externally as needed.
Provide ongoing guidance on billing, coding, and payer policy to support accurate reimbursement and compliance.
Review system interfaces and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Analyze and present quarterly audit findings to clients and billing teams, including recommendations and follow-up plans.
Support clients during audits (e.g., Medicare CERT), providing guidance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Assist with payer contract reviews and negotiations, including analyzing fee schedules and identifying reimbursement discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal RCM team to share client issues, discuss industry trends, and drive department-wide improvements.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements in all activities.
Salary and Benefits:
