Account Manager – Laboratory Client Services
Location: Charlotte, NC area preferred (hybrid) | Fully remote considered
Employment Type: Full-Time, 10am - 6pm EST
Compensation: $24-28 hourly + Commission/Bonus
Lighthouse Lab Services is looking for a client-focused Account Manager to support and grow relationships with our managed laboratory clients, specializing in toxicology and molecular diagnostics testing.
In this role, you’ll be the trusted contact for our healthcare clients. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, anticipate client needs, and ensure a seamless experience while identifying opportunities for growth.
Preferred candidates are in the Charlotte, NC area (hybrid schedule), but all qualified remote candidates will be considered.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.
Proactively manage client relationships through regular check-ins, meetings, and issue resolution.
Navigate complex client requests, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and complete required reporting.
Identify opportunities to upsell and deliver added value for clients and Lighthouse.
Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications (or equivalent combination of Education and Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of client-facing account management experience (healthcare or lab experience preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and EMR systems a plus.
Client focus, attention to detail, proactive approach for conflict resolution and finding solutions.
