This is an exciting opportunity for growth within the lab industry! Lighthouse Laboratory Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time LCMS technologist to join our laboratory in Dickson, TN.

The technologist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the toxicology laboratory, sample prep and processing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services, and daily laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures 
Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines 
Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of high complexity test performance  
Must be onsite to provide direct supervision when high complexity testing is performed by any individuals 
Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications 
Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests are properly functioning 
Providing training to all testing personnel 
Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel 
Perform other duties as directed

Qualifications:

B.S. in chemistry, physics, toxicology, biochemistry, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or related field.
Qualify as testing personnel and General Supervisor under CLIA guidelines and have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
MT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
Experience with Agilent 6400 series preferred
Previous experience with toxicology sample prep
Excellent communication and leadership skills
TN License required
